IRON-MAKING VESSEL
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an iron-making vessel having an excellent heat loss reduction effect and a materialized long life.SOLUTION: An iron-making vessel 1 receiving and holding molten pig iron 11 tapped from a blast furnace is provided which includes a refractory-lining structure having a steel shell 2, a permanent refractory layer 3, and a work refractory layer 4 in order from the outside. A shaped refractory constituting the work refractory layer is an AlO-pyrophyllite-SiC-C brick obtained by kneading, molding and heating a raw material composition containing a raw material and binder. In the iron-making vessel, carbon content in the raw material is 6 to 9 mass%, pyrophyllite content in the raw material is 10 to 30 mass% and pyrophyllite content having a particle diameter of 1 mm or less in the pyrophyllite is equal to 20 mass% or less.
【課題】熱ロス低減効果に優れ、かつ、長寿命化が実現された製鉄用容器を提供する。【解決手段】溶鉱炉から出湯される溶銑11を受銑して保持する製鉄用容器1であって、外側から順に、鉄皮2、永久耐火物層3およびワーク耐火物層4を有する耐火物ライニング構造を備え、上記ワーク耐火物層を構成する定形耐火物が、原料および結合材を含む原料組成物を混練、成形、加熱して得られるAl2O3−ろう石−SiC−Cレンガであって、上記原料中におけるカーボンの含有量が6〜9質量%であり、上記原料中におけるろう石の含有量が10〜30質量%であり、前記ろう石中における粒径1mm以下のろう石の含有量が20質量%以下である、製鉄用容器。【選択図】図26
