PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a cost.SOLUTION: A repair method for door casing includes: a removal process of separating and removing an existing door casing member from a board 52 and a substrate material 53; a substrate material repair process of constructing an additional substrate material 61 on the side from which the substrate material 53 is removed; a door casing member fitting process of fitting a wide frame plate part 31 to the additional substrate material 61 and a fitting part 55, while making a door casing member for replacement 21 be in a position in which a narrow frame plate part 32 extends from an end of a side of the wide frame plate part 31 having the other side facing a bathroom to the frame outer side and arranging the narrow frame plate part 32 so that the narrow frame plate part 32 is apart, by a predetermined distance, from the side of the board 52 opposite to the bathroom; and a cover member fitting process of making a cover member 22 be in a position in which a narrow cover plate part 42 extends from an end on the frame inner side of a wide cover plate part 41 to the bathroom side, inserting the narrow cover plate part 42 into an interval between the narrow frame plate part 32 and the additional substrate material 61, and fitting the wide cover plate part 41 on the board 52 on the side opposite to the bathroom.
