THROUGH-DIAPHRAGM WELDED JOINT STRUCTURE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a through-diaphragm welded joint structure in which the occurrence of cracks can be delayed even employing a simpler welded joint.SOLUTION: A through-diaphragm welded joint structure (10) is provided which includes a joint formed by welding square tubes (11, 12) and a diaphragm (20) to each other. The through-diaphragm welded joint structure (10) has a main welded part (23) being a welded part between end faces of the square tubes and a plate face of the diaphragm, and a backing strip (21) which is arranged at an inlet corner between the square tubes and the plate face of the diaphragm. The backing strip and the square tubes include fillet-welded parts (22) which are intermittently fillet-welded including four corners of the square tubes. The through-diaphragm welded joint structure (10) is formed in such a way that a distance from the plate face of the diaphragm up to toe-of-weld parts of the fillet-welded parts becomes longer than a distance from the plate face of the diaphragm up to a toe-of-weld part of the main welded part.
