PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight refractory aggregate having a light weight and low thermal conductivity and capable of securing strength efficiently and suitable as a raw material for refractory.SOLUTION: There is provided an alumina zirconia refractory aggregate containing an AlOcomponent and a ZrOcomponent as essential components and consisting of hollow particles having the AlOcomponent of 67 to 99 mass% and the ZrOcomponent of 1 to 33 mass% and the total content of 96 mass% or more.
【課題】本発明は、軽量で、低熱伝導率であり、さらに、強度も十分に確保できる耐火物の原料として好適な軽量耐火骨材を提供する。【解決手段】Al2O3成分及びZrO2成分を必須成分とするアルミナ−ジルコニア質の耐火骨材であって、Al2O3成分を67〜99質量%、ZrO2成分を1〜33質量%含有し、かつ、これらの合量が96質量%以上である中空粒子からなる軽量耐火骨材。【選択図】なし
