PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blast furnace slag selection method using an index capable of predicting an activity index of a blast furnace slag accurately, for selecting a blast furnace slag, and to provide a blast furnace slag production method using the blast furnace slag selected by the same method.SOLUTION: A blast furnace slag selection method comprises: a creation amount calculation step for determining a creation amount of Merwinite which is obtained by heating a blast furnace slag; an index calculation step for determining an index A of an activity index of the blast furnace slag on the basis of the creation amount of the Merwinite; and a selection step for selecting the blast furnace slag on the basis of the index A.
【課題】精度よく高炉スラグの活性度指数を予測出来る指標を用い、高炉スラグを選別する高炉スラグの選別方法を提供することを目的とする。また、この選別方法により選別された高炉スラグを用いた高炉スラグの製造方法を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】高炉スラグを加熱し、得られたメルヴィナイトの生成量を求める生成量算出工程と、前記メルヴィナイトの生成量から高炉スラグの活性度指数の指標Ａを求める指標算出工程と、前記指標Ａに基づいて高炉スラグを選別する選別工程とを含む、高炉スラグの選別方法である。【選択図】 図７
