PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of selecting excellent blast furnace slag by predicting accurately an activity index, even if the quality of the blast furnace slag is dispersed.SOLUTION: A selection method of blast furnace slag includes a basicity calculation step for determining a basicity from chemical components in the blast furnace slag, a bulk density calculation step for determining a bulk density of the blast furnace slag, an index calculation step for determining an index A of an activity index of the blast furnace slag from the basicity and the bulk density, and a selection step for selecting the blast furnace slag based on the index A.
【課題】高炉スラグの品質がばらついても、活性度指数を精度よく予測し、良好な高炉スラグを選別出来る方法を提供する。【解決手段】高炉スラグの化学成分から塩基度を求める塩基度算出工程と、前記高炉スラグの嵩密度を求める嵩密度算出工程と、前記塩基度および前記嵩密度から前記高炉スラグの活性度指数の指標Aを求める指標算出工程と、前記指標Aに基づいて前記高炉スラグを選別する選別工程とを含むことを特徴とする高炉スラグの選別方法である。【選択図】 図1
