PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cord regulator and a partition device for locking a predetermined cord used for opening-closing a partition member in an optional position.SOLUTION: A cord regulator 13 of the present invention comprises a case part 13a having an insertion hole 311 for inserting a predetermined cord 51 and fixed to a moving rail 7 and a lever part 13b rotatably installed at a rotary fulcrum to the case part 13a. The cord regulator 13 of the present invention is constituted so that locking and non-locking of the predetermined cord 51 can be selected by rotation of the lever part 13a. A partition device of the present invention comprises the cord regulator 13 of the present invention. The partition device of the present invention is also a partition device capable of opening-closing a partition member by using an operation grip 40 installed on an operation cord 42, and the operation grip 40 is constituted of a first grip member 40a and a second grip member 40b lockable by sandwiching the operation cord 42.
