VIBRATION CONTROL NAIL AND VIBRATION CONTROL STRUCTURE USING THE SAME
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control nail that enhances vibration control performance of a wooden structure, along with vibration control structure using the same.SOLUTION: A nail is hammered into and penetrates a lumber on the front side and reaches a lumber on the rear side for fastening the two lumbers, and includes an upper nail part 14 located on the lumber on the front side, a lower nail part 18 located on the lumber on the rear side, and a central nail part 16 located between the upper nail part 14 and the lower nail part 18 and having a cross-section area smaller than that of the upper nail part 14 and the lower nail part 18. The central nail part 16 is repeatedly deformed by repeated vibration loads exerted on the lumbers on the front side and the rear side, thus absorbing vibration energy. The nail is formed overall by a plate-form metallic member 8, with a top edge bent perpendicularly to form a head part 10, while the central nail part 16 has a reduced cross-section area by being made narrower or having a window 20 opened. Also, irregularities 22 are formed in the width direction on the upper nail part 14 or the lower nail part 18, for increasing friction between the nail and a lumber material.
【課題】木造構造物の制振性能を向上できる、制振釘およびこれを用いた制振構造を提供する。【解決手段】表側の木材から打ち込まれて貫通し裏側の木材に達して両木材をとめる釘において、表側の木材に位置する釘上部14と、裏側の木材に位置する釘下部18と、釘上部14と釘下部18との間にあって横断面積が釘上部14や釘下部18よりも小さい釘中央部16と、を有する。これにより、表側の木材と裏側の木材との間に働く振動の繰り返し荷重により釘中央部16が変形を繰り返すことで振動エネルギーを吸収する。この釘は、全体が板状の金属部材8によって形成され、上端が直角に屈曲して頭部10となり、釘中央部16は幅が小さくされ、または窓20が開けられて横断面積が小さくなっている。また、釘上部14、または釘下部18には木材との摩擦を大きくするための凹凸22が幅方向に形成される。【選択図】図1
