PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-hung window that allows a lower window sash to move along a guide groove for enhancing heat insulation property of a vertical frame member.SOLUTION: A double-hung window 1 includes an upper window sash fixed at an upper part of a frame installed on an opening of a building, and a movable lower window sash 4 installed in a lower part of the frame. A guide groove 15 that guides movement of the lower window sash 4 is installed on vertical frame members 8, 9 of the frame. A wire is connected to a winding spring installed in a balancer, and one end of the wire runs through the guide groove 15 and is connected to a support member 13 of the lower window sash 4. The wire length is adjusted with the winding spring, in response to lifting/lowering of the lower window sash 4. A non-moving area of the lower window sash 4 in an upper part of the guide groove 15 is covered with a door part, a moving area of the lower window sash 4 in a lower part is covered with a mohair 55, and movement of the support member 13 is allowed.
【課題】下障子をガイド溝に沿って移動可能で縦枠の断熱性を高める。【解決手段】上げ下げ窓1は、建物開口部に設けた枠体内の上部に設けて固定した上障子と下部に設けていて移動可能な下障子4とを備えた。枠体の縦枠8,9に下障子4の移動をガイドするガイド溝15を設けた。バランサー内に設けた巻き上げばねにワイヤーを連結し、ワイヤーの他端はガイド溝15内を延びて、下障子4の支持部材13に連結した。下障子4の昇降移動に応じて巻き上げばねでワイヤーの長さを調整する。ガイド溝15の上部における下障子4の非移動領域を扉部で覆い、下部における下障子4の移動領域をモヘア55で覆い、支持部材13の移動を許容する。【選択図】図4
