MONOLITHIC REFRACTORY FOR MOLTEN ALUMINUM ALLOY
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monolithic refractory for molten Al alloy excellent in flowability, flexure strength, thermal spalling resistance and infiltration resistance to the molten Al alloy and having higher durability than that of conventional refractory.SOLUTION: A monolithic refractory contains a main raw material and a CaFraw material added to the main raw material. The main raw material consists of SiC raw material of 60 to 98 mass%, a hardening agent of 1 to 15 mass%, an amorphous SiOsuperfine powder of 1 to 8 mass% one or more kinds selected from AlO, CaO, ZrOand MgO which are added to a status with total sum of 100 mass% in the case where the total sum of each component is less than 100 mass%. The CaFraw material is added to the main raw material within a range satisfying ratio between an outer mass% value A of the CaFraw material and a mass% value B of the amorphous SiOsuperfine powder of 0.2≤(A/B)≤2.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】流動性、曲げ強度、耐熱スポーリング性、溶融Al合金に対する耐浸潤性に優れ、従来の耐火物と比較して高耐用の溶融Al合金用不定形耐火物を提供する。【解決手段】主原料と当該主原料に添加されるCaF2原料を含む。主原料は、SiC原料60〜98質量%、硬化剤1〜15質量%、非晶質SiO2超微粉1〜8質量%、上記各成分の総和が100質量%未満である場合に総和が100質量%となる状態に添加される、Al2O3、CaO、ZrO2、MgOから選ばれる1種類以上の耐火原料からなる。そして、CaF2原料は、CaF2原料の外掛け質量%値Aと非晶質SiO2超微粉の質量%値Bとの比(A/B)が0.2≦(A/B)≦2を満足する範囲内で主原料に添加される。【選択図】なし
