PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-closing sliding door in which the sliding door is temporarily stopped only during a predetermined time in any opened position, and then is closed down automatically.SOLUTION: A closing operation suppressing structure of a self-closing sliding door is configured as follows: second biasing means biases a rocking-shaft 24c of a link member to the rotary shaft side of a gear member 23; the gear member 23 is rotated in the closing direction by first biasing means when the biasing to an opening direction of the sliding door is released; the link member is temporarily stopped or is rocked at a low speed against the biasing force of the second biasing means with this rotation; further, the link member is rocked and the rocking-shaft 24c of a link gear 24b is moved to the side opposite to the rocking-shaft 24c of the link member; and the link gear 24b is released from the fixed gear part and the link gear 24b rotates freely.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
