LITHIUM COBALTATE ORIENTATED SINTERED PLATE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF, AND METHOD FOR FORMING SOLID ELECTROLYTE LAYER ON LITHIUM COBALTATE ORIENTATED SINTERED PLATE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium cobaltate orientated sintered plate which is hard to cause a trouble in a battery performance even if a LiPON based solid electrolyte layer is formed on its surface by sputtering.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a lithium cobaltate orientated sintered plate comprises (a)a step for preparing a green sheet including CoOparticles; (b)a step for sintering the green sheet into a CoOoriented sintered plate; and (c)a step for sintering the CoOoriented sintered plate in coexistence of a lithium source to introduce lithium thereinto, thereby forming the lithium cobaltate orientated sintered plate primarily including LiCoO. The method further comprises: (d1)a step for covering a surface of the CoOoriented sintered plate with a liquid solution or slurry of a compound including at least one additive element of Ti, Al and/or Zr prior to the step (c); or (d2)a step for coating the surface of the lithium cobaltate oriented sintered material with the liquid solution or slurry and then, sintering the lithium cobaltate oriented sintered material coated with the liquid solution or slurry after the step (c).SELECTED DRAWING: None
