REINFORCEMENT PIPE AND PIPE REINFORCEMENT METHOD
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcement pipe and a pipe reinforcement method in which a sealing characteristic between an end part of a lining part at a reinforcement pipe and an inner peripheral surface of an outer pipe is stably assured.SOLUTION: This invention comprises an outer pipe [2] acting as a structural pipe; a lining part [3] entered inside through an end part of the outer pipe and processed with lining at an inner peripheral surface of the outer pipe; a ring-like seal member [5] tightly closing a seal part [4] between the end part of the lining part and the inner peripheral surface of the outer pipe; a first expansion band [6] for fastening the seal member against the inner peripheral surface of the lining part; and a second fastening band [7] fastening the seal member against the inner peripheral surface of the outer pipe. The first expansion band and the second expansion band are arranged to cause the first frictional force [F1] received by the lining part against the seal member to become larger than the second frictional force [F2] received by the outer pipe against the seal member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
