HANDLE MALFUNCTION PREVENTION DEVICE AND CASEMENT
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle malfunction prevention device which: does not affect a width and design of a doorframe at a tip of a sliding door; does not limit other hardware installed on the doorframe; alleviates limitation of a minimum manufacturing height of the sliding door; and can offer increased flexibility to deal with a construction error and aging.SOLUTION: A handle malfunction prevention device has a handle shaft rotation control section 11 which: is installed inside a device case 10, where a handle shaft 12a penetrates, in a vertical doorframe 31 at a tip of a sliding door 3; allows the handle shaft 12a to be rotated when the sliding door 3 is operated to close an opening frame 2, by bringing a contacted section 21c1 of the opening frame 2 into contact with a tip contact section 11b4 of a first reciprocating member 11b and thereby moving a tip engagement section 11c3 of a second reciprocating member 11c in a direction away from the handle shaft 12a; and prohibits rotation of the handle shaft 12a when the sliding door 3 is operated to open the opening frame 2, by separating the tip contact section 11b4 of the first reciprocating member 11b from the contacted section 21c1 of the opening frame 2 and thereby making the tip engagement section 11c3 of the second reciprocating member 11c engage with a cam member 12b due to elastic force of a compressing spring 11a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】障子先端の框の幅やデザインに影響を与えることなく、しかも框に設けるべき他の金具を制限することがない共に、障子の製作範囲最小高さの制約を緩和し、施工誤差や経年変化に対応し易くすること。【解決手段】障子3先端の縦框31に設けられ、ハンドル軸12aが貫通する装置ケース10内に、障子3が開口枠2に閉められた場合、開口枠2の被当接部21c1に第1進退部材11bの先端当接部11b4が当接することにより第2進退部材11cの先端係合部11c3をハンドル軸12aから離れる方向に移動させ、ハンドル軸12aの回動を許可する一方、障子3が開口枠2から開けられた場合、開口枠2の被当接部21c1から第1進退部材11bの先端当接部11b4が離れて、圧縮バネ11aの弾性力によって第2進退部材11cの先端係合部11c3がカム部材12bに係合してハンドル軸12aの回動を禁止するハンドル軸回動制御部11を設けた。【選択図】図2
