PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball valve of low costs and high resistance to foreign matters, capable of preventing foreign matters from being caught in a space between a ball seat and a ball valve element.SOLUTION: In a ball valve 1 opening and closing a valve by rotating a ball valve element 6 by an actuator portion 2, having ring-shaped ball seats 7A, 7B respectively disposed between valve caps 5A, 5B and the ball valve element 6, and O-rings 8A, 8B respectively disposed between the valve caps 5A, 5B and the ball seats 7A, 7B, and used in the fluid in which foreign matters are mixed, the ball seats 7A, 7B are composed of contact projecting portions 72A, 72B kept into contact with the ball valve body 6, and extension portions 71A, 71B forming a prescribed first clearance T with the ball valve element 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】ボールシートとボール弁体の空間に異物が噛み込むことを抑止する、低コストで耐異物性の高いボールバルブを提供する。【解決手段】アクチュエータ部２によりボール弁体６を回転させることにより、バルブの開閉を行うものであって、バルブキャップ５Ａ、５Ｂと該ボール弁体６との間にリング状のボールシート７Ａ，７Ｂ及びバルブキャップ５Ａ，５Ｂとボールシート７Ａ、７Ｂとの間に配置されたＯリング８Ａ，８Ｂを有し、異物が混在する流体に用いられるボールバルブ１において、ボールシート７Ａ、７Ｂは、ボール弁体６と接触する接触凸部７２Ａ，７２Ｂ及びボール弁体６との間に所定の第１隙間Ｔを形成する延設部７１Ａ、７１Ｂにより構成されている。【選択図】図１
