PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chuck aid for a steel pipe pile used when pressing in a steel pipe pile by rotation into a ground with a steel pipe pile rotary press-in device while griping an inner peripheral surface at a top edge of the steel pipe pile, for preventing deformation at the top edge of the steel pipe pile caused by gripping force of the chuck member and enhancing conveyance of torque to the steel pipe pile.SOLUTION: A steel pipe pile P is rotated and driven by pressing, against an inner peripheral surface at a top edge of the steel pipe pile P, cylindrical upper chuck member 10 and lower chuck member 11 and a cylindrical eccentric chuck member 12, with which eccentricity between an axial center line of the chuck members and an axial center line of an outer peripheral surface of the eccentric chuck member may be varied. At the time, a hollow cylindrical body 26 of a chuck aid 1 is fitted on an outer peripheral surface of the steel pipe pile P, and deformation at a top edge part of the steel pipe pile P caused by gripping force of the chuck members 10, 11, 12 is restricted at an inner peripheral surface of the hollow cylindrical body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】 鋼管杭回転圧入装置によって、鋼管杭の上端部内周面をチャック部材で把持して地面に回転圧入する際に、チャック部材の把持力によって鋼管杭上端部に生じる変形を防止し、鋼管杭への伝達トルクを高めることのできる鋼管杭のチャック補助具を提供する。【解決手段】 円筒状の上側チャック部材10及び下側チャック部材11と、これらのチャック部材の中心軸線に対して外周面の中心軸線の偏心量が可変な円筒状の偏心チャック部材12を鋼管杭Pの上端部内周面に押し当てて鋼管杭Pを回転駆動する際に、鋼管杭Pの外周面に、チャック補助具1の中空円筒体26を嵌装し、これらのチャック部材10、11、12の把持力によって鋼管杭Pの上端部に生じる変形を当該中空円筒体の内周面で規制する。【選択図】 図2
