INSTALLATION METHOD FOR HEAT INSULATION PANEL
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation method for a heat insulation panel that prevents water leakage at a connection between adjacent heat insulation panels, when a plurality of long plate-form heat insulation panels are installed on a roof adjacent to each other in the lengthwise direction.SOLUTION: In an installation method for a heat insulation panel, a plurality of heat insulation panels P is installed on a roof adjacent to each other in a lengthwise direction, the heat insulation panel having a long plate-form heat insulation material 1 and a surface material 2 covering a surface of the heat insulation material 1. The installation method includes the following steps for: installing a first heat insulation panel P1 on the roof; removing the heat insulation material 1 of a second heat insulation panel P2 by a prescribed length from an edge side in the lengthwise direction toward the other end side, thereby forming an extended part 20 in which an end side of the surface material 2 in the lengthwise direction extends outward of an edge of the heat insulation material 1; compressing a part of the first heat insulation panel P1 that interferes with the extended part 20 when overlapping the extended part 20 of the second heat insulation panel P2 on the first heat insulation panel P1; and installing the second heat insulation panel P2 such that the extended part 20 of the second heat insulation panel P2 is overlapped with the first heat insulation panel P1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
