PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-hung window which can improve flame resistance, and can suppress a part cost.SOLUTION: A double-hung window comprises a window frame, an outer sash and an inner sash 30. The inner sash 30 comprises resin-made lower slide pieces 39 at both end sides of a bottom rail 32. A sill 12 of the window frame has a groove 120 and a frame depth piece 122 located outside a room rather than the groove 120 which accommodates the lower slide pieces 39. A rail cover material 61 for covering the bottom rail 32 and an outdoor side of the groove 120 is attached to the bottom rail 32, and thermal expansion materials 71, 72 are arranged between and among the rail cover material 61, the bottom rail 32 and the groove 120. A thermal expansion material 73 is arranged at the frame depth piece 122 at the outdoor side rather than the rail cover material 61, and a frame cover material 62 for covering the thermal expansion material 73 at the outdoor side rather than the rail cover material 61 is attached to the frame depth pieces 122 via a resin attachment 63.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
