DREDGING METHOD APPLICABLE TO BOTTOM OF POND OR THE LIKE CONTAMINATED WITH RADIOACTIVE SUBSTANCE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method to dredge radioactive substances that have been deposited at the bottom of ponds or the like without whirling the substances up into water.SOLUTION: A dredging method applicable to the bottom of ponds or the like contaminated with radioactive substances in this invention utilizes a dredging system (0106) comprising: a barge (0102) which is made of floats (0101) and has a center moon pool (0112) of a U or square shape; and a dredge section (0105), which is fitted with a dredge-intake port (0104) at its lowermost part, and is installed on the barge, sitting on a pair of rails (0103) laid on opposing two sides of the barge. The dredge section is movable inside the center moon pool in a first direction (0107) parallel to the rails and/or in a second direction (0108) perpendicular to the rails. The dredging method, comprising: a preparation step which floats the dredging system in a pond or the like, of which the bottom is contaminated with radioactive substances; a securing step which secures the dredging system in the pond or the like; and a forward-direction dredging step which carries out forward-direction dredging by shifting the dredge section in the center moon pool in the first direction or in the second direction upon the dredging system having been secured by the securing step, removes contaminated part of the bottom of the pond or the like.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】池等の底に蓄積した放射性物質を水中に巻き上げることなく浚渫を行う。【解決手段】フロート(0101)からなりコの字状又は口の字状の中央水窓部(0112)を有する台船(0102)の対向する二辺に敷かれたレール(0103)にまたがって中央水窓部にてレールと平行方向である第一方向(0107)又は/及びレールと垂直方向である第二方向(0108)に移動可能な最下部に浚渫取込口(0104)を付けた浚渫部(0105)を備えた浚渫装置(0106)による浚渫方法であって、放射性物質で底が汚染された池等に浚渫装置を浮かべる準備ステップと、浚渫装置を池等に対して固定する固定ステップと、固定ステップにて固定された後に浚渫部を中央水窓部内にて第一方向又は第二方向へ向かって移動させ順方向浚渫をする順方向浚渫ステップと、を有し、池等の底の汚染部分を除去する放射性物質で汚染された池等の底の浚渫方法を提案する。【選択図】図1
