PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a demolition system which enables an engaging device to be reliably fixed to an existing floor on which a crane is installed when demolishing an existing structure.SOLUTION: A demolition system 2 comprises: a crane installation floor 20 including a portion of an existing floor 14 of an existing building 1; a supporting column 11A which supports the crane installation floor 20; a crane 30 which is installed on the crane installation floor 20; and a lifting and lowering device 40 which lowers the crane installation floor 20 along the supporting column 11A. The lifting and lowering device 40 has: a reaction member 41; a suspension material 42; an engaging device 43; and a lifting and lowering jack 44. The engaging device 43 has: a latch beam 70 arranged below an existing beam 12A on the crane installation floor 20; a loading beam 80 arranged above the existing beam 12A; and a connection member 90 connecting the latch beam 70 and the loading beam 80.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
