PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a currency deposit/withdrawal device which enables locking and unlocking regardless of a key and does not need key management.SOLUTION: A currency deposit/withdrawal device includes a user restriction part, an internal unit, a housing, a put-out control part, an energization part, a lock part, and an unlock control part. The user restriction part enables the operation of its own device in the case of receiving authentication information from a host device. The internal unit includes a storage part for storing coins or paper money. The housing includes the internal unit. The put-out control part puts out coins from the storage part on the basis of a put-out control signal transmitted from the host device. The energization part energizes the internal unit in the direction of pushing it out of the housing. The lock part can be unlocked by electromagnetic control and causes the internal unit to stay in the housing against the energization by the energization part during being locked. The unlock control part controls unlocking of the lock part on the basis of a release instruction signal transmitted from the host device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
