PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a western-style toilet bowl that facilitates cleaning.SOLUTION: A side opening is provided in at least one side surface among the side surfaces of both sides of left and right of a toilet bowl body, and a side cover 7 for covering up the side opening is mounted. The side cover 7 is provided to be drawable forward from a closing position for covering up the side opening along the side surface of the toilet bowl body. Then, a sticking surface 22 for sticking a wiping member 21 is provided in an inner surface of the side cover 7. When the side cover 7 is drawn forward, the wiping member 21 comes into contact with the side surface of the toilet bowl body positioned forward from the side opening, and thereby is configured to clean the side surface of the toilet bowl body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】清掃の容易化を図り得る洋式便器を提供する。【解決手段】便器本体の左右両側の側面のうちの少なくとも一方の側面に、側面開口が設けられているとともに、この側面開口を覆う側面カバー７が取り付けられている。側面カバー７は、側面開口を覆う閉じ位置から便器本体の側面に沿って前方に引き出し可能に設けられている。そして、側面カバー７の内面に、拭き取り部材２１を貼り付ける貼り付け面２２を設け、側面カバー７を前方へ引き出すとき拭き取り部材２１が側面開口よりも前方に位置する便器本体の側面に接触してこの便器本体の側面を清掃するように構成する。【選択図】図４
