To provide a western-style toilet bowl having a toilet seat (2) on which a user can be seated in the backward and forward facing direction, and when urinating while sitting on the toilet seat (2), the urination strikes a water surface (14) of a trap inlet (12), thereby preventing water droplets from jumping up to the toilet seat (2) and enabling hygienical urination.SOLUTION: By disposing a trap inlet (12) on an inner surface (11) of a toilet body (1) to a position near the cross-sectional area of an outlet (13) and higher than the water surface (14) so as to provide a urine ejected pad (15) having a two-dimensional extent around the trap inlet (12), hygienical urination is made possible since the urine is easily ejected to the urine ejected pad (15), not to the water surface (14), thereby suppressing splash of urine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
【課題】本発明は奥向き前向きに着座できる便座（２）を有する洋風便器で、奥向きに便座（２）に座って小便をするとき小便がトラップ入口（１２）の水面（１４）にあたり、その跳ね返りの水滴が便座（２）まで跳ね上るのを防止し、衛生的に小便ができる洋風便器を提供する点にある。【解決手段】 便器本体（１）の内面（１１）のトラップ入口（１２）を排水口（１３）の断面積近くの広さで水面（１４）より高い位置まで立ち上げ、トラップ入口（１２）の周りに平面的な広がりを持つ小便当て部（１５）を設けたから、小便を水面（１４）ではなく小便当て部（１５）に容易に放射できるので、小便の跳ね返りをなくし、衛生的に小便ができるのである。【選択図】図８
