PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation control method for a pallet circulation type mechanical shed, capable of moving a designated pallet to a destination such as an entry/delivery port with less number of times of operation.SOLUTION: A drive operation method for a mechanical shed includes the steps of: detecting, as coordinates, a position of a designated pallet, a position of a destination, and a position of an empty space in a storage space; determining the designated pallet's next operation direction from coordinates of the designated pallet, the destination, and the empty space, when the destination exists on a certain horizontally movable stage and the designated pallet exists on a row and a horizontally movable stage that differ from those of the destination; repeating, when it is determined that the next operation direction is vertical one to a horizontally movable stage on which the destination exists, operation of disposing another empty space in the designated pallet's next operation direction and vertically shifting all of pallets from a horizontally movable stage on which the designated pallet exists to the newly disposed empty space toward the newly disposed empty space, until the designated pallet has moved to the same horizontally movable stage as the destination; and performing, after the designated pallet has moved to the same horizontally movable stage as the destination, operation of disposing another empty space between the designated pallet and the destination before horizontally shifting the designated pallet toward the destination.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】パレット循環方式の機械式格納庫において、指定パレットを入出庫口などの目的地に少ない動作回数で移動させられる動作制御方法を提供する。【解決手段】格納スペースにおける指定パレットの位置と目的地の位置と空スペースの位置とを座標として検知し、目的地が一部の横行段にあり、指定パレットが目的地と異なる横行段の異なる列にいる場合に、指定パレットと目的地と空スペースとの座標から指定パレットの次動作方向を決定し、次動作方向を目的地のある横行段への縦行と決定した場合、指定パレットの次動作方向に空スペースを配置し、指定パレットのいた横行段から空スペースまでの全パレットを空スペースの方向に縦行させる動作を、指定パレットが目的地と同じ横行段に移動するまで繰り返し、指定パレットが目的地と同じ横行段に移動した後は、指定パレットの目的地側に空スペースを配置し、指定パレットを目的地に向けて横行させる動作を行う。【選択図】図１
