ELECTRONIC KEY REGISTRATION SYSTEM
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic key registration system that implements both of preventing unauthorized registration and reducing the number of ECU article numbers.SOLUTION: An electronic key registration system includes an on-vehicle ECU in which a first identifier unique to a first electronic key communicable with the on-vehicle ECU and a second identifier that is an identifier unique to a second electronic key and differs from the first identifier are registered. The on-vehicle ECU includes: reception means for receiving identification information, by which at least brand information or destination information on a vehicle mounting an on-vehicle ECU communicable with the first electronic key is capable of being recognized, from the first electronic key; and registration condition setting means for setting a registration condition used in registering the second identifier in the on-vehicle ECU by using information received by the reception means. The on-vehicle ECU includes: registration propriety determination means for determining whether or not the second identifier can be registered in the on-vehicle ECU, by using the registration condition; and registration means for registering the first identifier and second identifier, as identifiers for a communicable electronic key.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
