PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning method that suppresses bacterial growth on a toilet bowl and removes urinary calculus that has formed.SOLUTION: A cleaning device 30 includes a tank 1 for storing an acidic aqueous solution containing an acid substance and an alkali metallic chloride, an electrolysis section 4 for forming electrolytic water through electrolysis of the acidic aqueous solution supplied from the tank 1, and a feed section 5. The feed section 5 is provided to: feed the acidic aqueous solution stored in the tank 1 or the diluted acidic aqueous solution to a toilet bowl 15, for cleaning the toilet bowl 15 or a drain pipe 23; and feed the electrolytic water formed by the electrolysis section 4 or the diluted electrolytic water to the toilet bowl 15 or the drain pipe 23, for cleaning the toilet bowl 15 or the drain pipe 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
