PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sunlight-blocking device; with which head rails with a great total length are divided into sections for easy carriage of the head rails into installation sites, and the head rails can be assembled and installed by a single worker.SOLUTION: A pair of adjacent head rails, which are part of 2 or more head rails 14 and 14 horizontally extending in a straight line as part of a sunlight-blocking device 10, are connected with each other by a connection device 16. The connection device comprises: a turned-over-box-like connection main body 21, which is installed between the aforesaid pair of adjacent head rails, and closes and secures two opposing faces of the aforesaid pair of adjacent head rails; a pair of connection insertion members 22 and 22, which are arranged protruding out from each face of the connection main body and inserted into each of the aforesaid pair of adjacent head rails; and output shaft connection members 23 and 23, which are inserted rotatably in the extent from the connection main body to the pair of connection insertion members, and whose each end is connected to the end of each of a pair of output shafts 18a and 18a in the aforesaid pair of adjacent head rails.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】全長の長いヘッドレール等を分割することにより、ヘッドレール等を設置場所に容易に搬入でき、ヘッドレール等の組立作業及び取付作業を一人の作業者が行う。【解決手段】日射遮蔽装置１０の水平方向に一直線状に延びる２本のヘッドレール１４，１４のうち隣接する一対のヘッドレールが連結装置１６により連結される。この連結装置は、上記隣接する一対のヘッドレールの間に介装され上記隣接する一対のヘッドレールの互いに対向する面を閉止する伏せ箱状の連結本体２１と、連結本体の両面からそれぞれ突設され上記隣接する一対のヘッドレール内にそれぞれ挿入された一対の連結挿入部材２２，２２と、連結本体から一対の連結挿入部材にかけて回転可能に挿通され両端が上記隣接する一対のヘッドレール内の一対の出力軸１８ａ，１８ａの端部にそれぞれ接続される出力軸連結部材２３，２３とを有する。【選択図】図１
