PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting structure for a door handle that enables a same handle to be fitted readily and securely on both surfaces of a door by a same fitting method, thereby reducing the number of constituent members and reducing a bracket thickness.SOLUTION: A fitting structure for a door handle is for fitting a handle 30 on both surfaces of a door 1, the handle comprising a pair of brackets 10 and a handle body 20 fitted between the brackets. A through-hole 12 and a screw hole 13 are formed at corresponding locations on fitting surfaces of the door, for a fitting part 11 of one bracket and a fitting part of the other bracket. Furthermore, first and second insertion holes 71, 72 are formed at portions corresponding to the through-hole and the screw hole at a handle fitting position on the door surface. One of fixing screw members 50 that are formed in a same way is inserted through the through-hole and the first insertion hole of the one bracket and screwed into the screw hole 13 of the other bracket, and the other screw member is inserted into the through-hole and the second insertion hole of the other bracket and screwed into the screw hole of the one bracket.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
