PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system that can make it difficult to demodulate an authentication code transmitted from a mobile device to an on-vehicle unit and can improve an anticrime effect.SOLUTION: A radio communication system comprises: a mobile device 1 that can be carried around by a driver, modulate a specific authentication code, and transmit the modulated signal by radio; and an on-vehicle unit 2 that is mounted on a vehicle, receives the signal transmitted by the mobile device 1 by radio, and can demodulate the signal to obtain the authentication code. Only if the authentication code obtained by the on-vehicle unit 2 is a normal authentication code, the door lock of the vehicle or the start-up of the driving source of the vehicle can be permitted. The mobile device 1 can modulate the authentication code by a plurality of modulation schemes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】携帯機から車載ユニットに送信される認証コードの復調を困難とすることができ、防犯効果を向上させることができる無線通信システムを提供する。【解決手段】運転者が携帯可能とされるとともに、固有の認証コードを変調し、その変調した信号を無線送信し得る携帯機１と、車両に搭載され、携帯機１から無線送信された信号を受信するとともに、当該信号を復調して認証コードを取得し得る車載ユニット２とを具備し、車載ユニット２で取得された認証コードが正規の認証コードである場合に限り、車両のドアロックを解除又は車両の駆動源の始動を許可し得る無線通信システムにおいて、携帯機１は、認証コードを複数の変調方式によって変調し得るものである。【選択図】図１
