PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piping structure for an electric water heater in which a back-flow discharge water is prevented from reaching a check valve and a branch pipe part is not required to make an inclined part, in particular.SOLUTION: A piping structure of an electric water heater comprises: an electric water heater; a discharge water pipe part for discharging discharge water of the electric water heater; a water discharging device; a discharge water pipe for discharging discharge water of the water discharging device; a joint member comprising a vertical pipe part connected by pipe on the water discharging pipe of the water discharging device, a branch pipe part installed at a side surface of the vertical pipe part in a substantial horizontal direction and connected to the water discharging pipe part, and a storing wall provided along the whole circumference of the inner surface of the vertical pipe part, of which upper end is connected at the inner surface of the vertical pipe part above an upper end of an opening of the branch pipe and of which lower end is released at a lower part than the lower end of the opening of the branch pipe part; and a check valve installed in a pipe ranging from the discharge water pipe part at the electric water heater to a location above the branch pipe part of the joint member, normally closed and opened only when the discharge water is generated from the electric water heater toward the branch pipe to allow the discharge water to pass.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】電気温水器の配管構造において、逆流防止弁に、逆流した排水が達することが無いようにしつつ、且つ枝管部には特に傾斜を設けなくとも良いようにした電気温水器の配管構造を提案する。【解決手段】電気温水機の配管構造を、電気温水器と、電気温水器の排水を排出する排水管部と、排水機器と、排水機器の排水を排出する排水配管と、該排水機器の排水配管上に配管接続される縦管部、該縦管部の側面に略水平方向に備えられ、排水管部に接続される枝管部、縦管部の内側面全周に沿って備えられた、上端は枝管部の開口の上端よりも上方にて縦管部の内側面にて接続され、下端は枝管部の開口の下端よりも下方にて開放された貯留壁、からなる継手部材と、電気温水器側の排水管部から継手部材の枝管部上までの配管内に備えられた、常時は閉塞し、電気温水器側から枝管側への排水が生じた場合のみ開口して排水の通過を許容する逆流防止弁と、から構成する。【選択図】図3
