METHOD FOR REINFORCING OR REPAIRING METALLIC SUPPORT POST, AND REINFORCED OR REPAIRED METALLIC SUPPORT POST STRUCTURE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple reinforcement or repair method that offers a highly effective and durable reinforcement effect or repair effect.SOLUTION: A method for reinforcing or repairing a metallic support post of the present invention includes a first covering step, a bonding step, a second covering step, and a curing step. In the first covering step, a part of the metallic support post to be reinforced or repaired is covered with a first prepreg sheet of a fiber-reinforced resin. In the bonding step, a metallic reinforcement member is bonded on an outer surface of the first prepreg sheet of a fiber-reinforced resin. In the second covering step, the metallic reinforcement member is covered by a second prepreg sheet of a fiber-reinforced resin having a size and a form sufficient for covering at least an entire outer surface of the metallic reinforcement member. In the curing step, a matrix resin of the first prepreg sheet of a fiber-reinforced resin and the second prepreg sheet of a fiber-reinforced resin is cured.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
