PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projected window device that has a simple structure and makes it possible to easily and safely switch the device's opening direction between rightwards and leftwards even after installation of the device.SOLUTION: A projected window device comprises: first and second link members 42, 52 fitted on a lower lateral frame part 12a, and third and fourth link members 88, 90 fitted on an upper lateral frame part 12b; first and second detachable fittings 64, 76 that are provided on the lower end of a sash 14 and are to be locked by engaging with first and second pin-shaped projections 50b, 60b; third and fourth detachable fittings 94, 96 that are provided on the upper end of the sash 14 and are to be locked by engaging with third and fourth pin-shaped projections; right side lock release means 98 for releasing the first and third pin-shaped projections' engagement with the first and third detachable fittings 64, 94, and a right side opening/closing handle 26; and left side lock release means 100 for releasing the second and fourth pin-shaped projections' engagement with the second and fourth detachable fittings 76, 96, and a left side opening/closing handle 34.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
