PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation method of a rain water storage tank and provide the rain water storage tank.SOLUTION: For this purpose, an installation method of a rain water storage tank of the present invention comprises: a floor installation step of installing a floor part in a bottom surface of an underground space; a primary wrapping sheet installation step of installing a wrapping sheet on a floor surface of the floor part; a maintenance passage installation step of installing a maintenance passage in the length direction on an upper surface center of the wrapping sheet installed on the floor surface; an inspection port installation step of vertically installing an inspection port connected with the maintenance passage at both side ends in the length direction of the maintenance passage; a pre-treatment tank installation step of installing a pre-treatment tank connected with the inspection port on the outside upper part of one side inspection port; a rain water storage tank installation step of vertically installing a base unit of the rain water storage tank in the upper surface of the maintenance passage and the upper surface of the bottom wrapping sheet; a cover plate installation step of installing a cover plate on the upper part of the rain water storage tank; and a secondary wrapping sheet installation step of installing the wrapping sheet in the upper surface of the cover plate and the side surface of the rain water storage tank.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
