PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water cutoff structure and a water cutoff method, quickly installable, and capable of also exhibiting high water cutoff performance.SOLUTION: In a lower seal 53, a lower soft water cutoff material 53d of extending to the outdoor side from the lower end part side of a plate material 51, is provided along a lower frame 13, and in side part seals 54 and 55, a side part soft water cutoff material 55d of extending to the outdoor side from the side end part side of the plate material 51, is provided along jambs 24 and 25, and in a door 30-closed state, a lower end part of the plate material 51 and the lower seal 53 are sandwiched between a lower door stop 23 and a door 30, and a side end part of the plate material 51 and the side part seals 54 and 55 are sandwiched between vertical door stops 14 and 15 and the door 30, and the lower soft water cutoff material 53d is sandwiched between the lower frame 13 and an undersurface of the door 30, and the side part soft water cutoff material 55d is sandwiched between jambs 14 and 15 and a side surface of the door 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
