PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle stop device that has a simple structure and is hardly damaged.SOLUTION: A vehicle stop device 1 is installed in a parking lot. The vehicle stop device comprises: a vehicle stop member 31, which lifts and lowers when a vehicle enters or leaves; a lifting mechanism 51, which lifts or lowers the vehicle stop member 31; and a vehicle bottom detection unit 41, which detects a vehicle bottom when the vehicle stop member 31 lifts. The vehicle bottom detection unit 41 comprises: a top board side base 411, which is fitted to a top board 311 of the vehicle stop member 31; a lifting mechanism side base 413, which is fitted to the lifting mechanism 51; and a limit switch, which is disposed between the top board side base 411 and the lifting mechanism side base 413.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
