PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve power generation efficiency, in a hydraulic power generation system installed in a plurality toward the downstream side from the upstream side of a water passage.SOLUTION: In a control method of a hydraulic power generation system of installing a plurality of hydraulic power generation devices having a water turbine toward the downstream side from the upstream side of a water passage, a computer determines a position of a water turbine of a second hydraulic power generation device on the basis of a power generation quantity of a first hydraulic power generation device when changing a position of the second hydraulic power generation device, by changing a position in the vertical direction of the water turbine of the second hydraulic power generation device adjacently installed on the downstream side of the first hydraulic power generation device in a plurality of stages, when the power generation quantity reduces when a water level rises in the first hydraulic power generation device, by comparing with time before a predetermined time, by referring a power generation quantity storage part for storing the power generation quantity of the respective hydraulic power generation devices and a water level storage part for storing a water level of a water passage in an installation place of the respective hydraulic power generation devices.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8A
