PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting material weight management device for a road cutter and a cutting material weight management method for a road cutter that can prevent a cutting material from being overloaded and also reduce costs for transportation of the cutting material.SOLUTION: A cutting material weight management device used for a road cutter 1 that cuts a surface of a pavement road face A in a travel direction S and carries a cutting material out comprises: a noncontact sensor 12 which measures a cutting distance along the travel direction S; a storage part which stores cutting conditions of a density of the pavement road face A and a cutting width and a cutting depth of cutting means 3; a control part which computes a weight equivalent of the cutting material upon the basis of the cutting distance and the cutting conditions; and a notification part 13 which gives notice that the weight equivalent of the cutting material reaches a target value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】切削材の過積載を防止すると共に切削材の運搬に掛かる費用を低減可能な路面切削機の切削材重量管理装置及び路面切削機の切削材重量管理方法を提供する。【解決手段】舗装路面Ａの表面を進行方向Ｓに切削して切削材を外部に搬出する路面切削機１に用いられる切削材重量管理装置は、進行方向Ｓに沿った切削距離を測定する非接触式センサ１２と、舗装路面Ａの密度並びに切削手段３の切削幅及び切削深さの切削条件を記憶する記憶部と、切削距離及び切削条件に基づいて切削材の重量相当を演算する制御部と、切削材の重量相当が目標値に達したことを通知する通知部１３と、を備えている。【選択図】図１
