To provide an alert groove that is formed by cutting and constructing a smooth slope face to attract attention of the driver of a reversely traveling vehicle, causing little influence of impact on the vehicle and occupants, a road cutter and a road cutting method.SOLUTION: An alert groove (M1) has an arcuate part (M1A) and a slope part (M1B). The arcuate part (M1A) is positioned at a near-side end part in the correct traveling direction of a vehicle (X: traveling direction: forward direction) and is formed in a prescribed depth (D1), and the slope part (M1B) is constituted by an inclined plane rising to reach a road surface (SF) (not being cut) continued to the arcuate part (M1A). On the inclined plane, a lot of micro stair-like parts are continuously constituted which rise in the vertical direction by micro distance (δV: for example, 1 mm) for every micro distance (δV: for example, 10 mm) in the correct traveling direction (X) of the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】滑らかなスロープ面を切削構築して、逆走車の運転手の注意を喚起することが出来て、且つ、車両や搭乗者への衝撃の影響が小さい注意喚起溝、路面切削機械及び路面切削方法を提供する。【解決手段】注意喚起溝（Ｍ１）は、円弧状部分（Ｍ１Ａ）とスロープ状部分（Ｍ１Ｂ）とを有しており、円弧状部分（Ｍ１Ａ）は車両の進むべき方向（Ｘ：進行方向：順方向）の手前側端部に位置して所定の切削深さ（Ｄ１）に形成され、円弧状部分（Ｍ１Ａ）に連続して（切削されていない）道路面（ＳＦ）に到達する様に上昇する傾斜面によりスロープ状部分（Ｍ１Ｂ）が構成されており、前記傾斜面は車両の進むべき方向（Ｘ）の微細距離（δＬ：例えば１０ｍｍ）毎に垂直方向に微細距離（δＶ：例えば１ｍｍ）だけ上昇する微細な階段状部分が多数連続して構成されている。【選択図】図１
