COOLING METHOD OF STEEL SLAG
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a time for cooling steel slag to a prescribed temperature and discharge the steel slag while preventing steam explosion, when cooling the steel slag in an exclusive vessel with water.SOLUTION: Steel slag generated in a steel making process is discharged and subjected to water spray cooling in a cooling method of steel slag of the invention. An exclusive vessel 1 is prepared in advance in which a steel pipe 4 is arranged on an iron shell face 2 so that the upper end of the steel pipe 4 is located at a position of 0.80-0.93 (the lowest position of the iron shell face 2 in the vertical direction is 0 and the highest position thereof is 1), wherein the steel pipe 4 has open holes 3U, 3D at the upper end and lower end that communicate with each other. Water is sprayed on the surface of the steel slag housed in the exclusive vessel 1 having the steel pipe 4 arranged. When the temperature of the outer iron shell face of the exclusive vessel 1 becomes 100°C or lower, the steel slag in the exclusive vessel 1 is discharged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】 専用容器内の製鋼スラグを水によって冷却する場合に、所定温度以下まで冷却する時間を短くし、且つ水蒸気爆発を発生させることなく専用容器からの排出を行う。【解決手段】本発明の製鋼スラグの冷却方法は、製鋼工程で発生する製鋼スラグを排滓して散水冷却するに際して、鉄皮面2に、上端部及び下端部に開放孔3U、3Dを有すると共に開放孔3U、3Dが連通状態とされた鉄管4を、鉄管4の上端部が0.80〜0.93(上下方向で鉄皮面2の最も低い位置が0、最も高い位置が1)に位置するように配備された専用容器1を予め準備しておき、鉄管4が配備された専用容器1に装入された製鋼スラグの表面に散水を行い、専用容器1の鉄皮の外面の温度が100℃以下になった時点で、専用容器1内の製鋼スラグを排出することを特徴とする。【選択図】図1
