PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently remove bottom sediment of a pond.SOLUTION: A bottom sediment removal system 1 removes a predetermined thickness of bottom sediment accumulated on a bottom of a pond. The bottom sediment removal system comprises: a bottom sediment removal device 2, which is sank in the pond and bores a predetermined width of the bottom sediment while moving along the bottom of the pond and takes the bored bottom sediment into the device; a tow rope 3, which moves and operates the bottom sediment removal device 2 from the land; bottom sediment suction means 5, which suctions the bottom sediment taken into the bottom sediment removal device 2 to the land through a vacuum hose 4 while being moved and operated; and buoyance adjustment means 6, which adjusts the buoyance of the bottom sediment removal device 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
