PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an iris authentication device for a door and an iris authentication system which can be easily installed.SOLUTION: An iris authentication device 1 for a door configured so to be attached to a door 2 and used for unlocking the door 2, includes: an unlocking mechanism 102 for unlocking the door 2 to which the iris authentication device 1 for the door is attached; a camera 101 for picking up an image; an authentication part 143 which executes iris authentication on the basis of a picked-up image picked up by the camera 101, and when the iris authentication is successful, unlocks the door 2 using the unlocking mechanism 102; and a housing 11 which integrally houses the unlocking mechanism 102, the camera 101, and the authentication part 143.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
