PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily coloring a surface of a ceramic element body of a ceramic electronic component without masking.SOLUTION: The method for forming a colored film on a ceramic surface of a ceramic electronic component includes: dissolving or dispersing a silane coupling agent and a metal alkoxide in a solvent to prepare a matrix composition; dispersing an organic dye in the obtained matrix composition to prepare a colored sol; applying the obtained colored sol to the ceramic electronic component and drying it; and heat-treating the ceramic electronic component to which the colored sol has been applied.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】セラミック電子部品のセラミック素体の表面を、マスキングを行うことなく、簡便に着色する方法の提供。【解決手段】セラミック電子部品のセラミック表面に着色膜を形成する方法であって、シランカップリング剤および金属アルコキシドを溶媒に溶解または分散させ、マトリックス組成物を作製すること、得られたマトリックス組成物中に有機色素を分散させて着色ゾルを作製すること、得られた着色ゾルをセラミック電子部品に塗布し、乾燥すること、および着色ゾルが塗布されたセラミック電子部品を加熱処理することを含む方法。【選択図】なし
