PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water stop device that adequately holds back water at a place where rails are installed.SOLUTION: A water stop device 20 comprises: a brace 21, which is installed by being inserted in a hole 32 formed on a top face of a foundation 30; a water stop plate 22, which is installed on the upper face side of rails 13, has an undersurface supported by supports 31 formed on both sides of the rail 13, and side ends supported by the brace 21; and an elastic filler 23, which has an inside surface formed into a shape fitting an outside surface of the rail 13 and is charged in a space 33 formed between the supports 31, 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
