Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration damping covering material for a cable that may be fitted readily on a cable, provides effective vibration damping performance to the cable and readily maintains the provided vibration damping performance.SOLUTION: A vibration damping covering material 1 for a cable of the present invention is a spirally wound belt-form covering material 1 for covering a surface of a cable, and the covering material 1 has a surface form that realizes vibration damping performance. The covering material 1 should desirably be made of a thermally shrinking material, and the covering material 1 should desirably have integrally formed covering material body 2 and a spiral protrusion 3 formed on a surface of the covering material body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

【課題】ケーブルに簡便に取り付けることができ、かつ効果的に制振性能を付与するとともに付与した制振性能を持続しやすいケーブル制振用被覆材を提供する。【解決手段】本発明のケーブル制振用被覆材１は、ケーブルの表面を被覆するように螺旋状の巻き癖がついた帯状の被覆材１であって、前記被覆材１は制振性能を発揮する表面形状を有する。被覆材１が熱収縮する材質で構成されていることが好ましく、前記被覆材１は、被覆材本体２と、前記被覆材本体の表面に設けられた螺旋突起３と、を一体に有することが好ましい。【選択図】図１
