PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trap device for enabling an operation to restart automatically when a reverse flow of gases 102 is eliminated.SOLUTION: A trap device comprises: a first container 11 for reserving a predetermined amount of oil 101; a second container 12 positioned just above the first container 11 and capable of receiving at least a portion of the oil 101; and a partition member 13 partitioning the inside of the first container 11 and the inside of the second container 12 and also having a communication hole 13b that communicates the inside of the first container 11 with the inside of the second container 12. The partition member 13 includes a first guide part 13c for guiding the gas 102 in the second container via the communication hole 13b to below a liquid level 101a of the oil 101 to be reserved in the first container 11. The gas 102 having been fed to the air inlet 12e of the second container 12 is discharged as an air bubble 101b through the oil 101 to the outside from the exhaust port 11e of the first container 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
