PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the possibility of a door of a vehicle being locked as a result from a locking instruction signal in a state in which a portable machine is left in the interior of the vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle locking system includes: a portable machine that transmits a locking instruction signal when a predetermined time elapses after a time point at which first mutual communication in the interior of a vehicle is established; a vehicle interior communication unit that when a transceiver receives the locking instruction signal, transmits a radio wave via the transceiver using transmission power greater than that at the time of the first mutual communication to try third mutual communication with the portable machine; and a locking control unit that when the third mutual communication is not established, locks a door of the vehicle in response to the locking instruction signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】 携帯機が車室内に残った状態で施錠指示信号に起因して車両のドアが施錠されてしまう可能性を、低減すること。【解決手段】車両施錠システムにおいて、携帯機は、車室内での第1相互通信が成立した時点から所定時間が経過した場合に、施錠指示信号を送信し、車室内通信部は、送受信機が前記施錠指示信号を受信した場合に、前記送受信機を介して、電波を前記第1相互通信時よりも大きい送信電力で送信することで前記携帯機との第3相互通信を試み、施錠制御部は、前記第3相互通信が成立しない場合に、前記施錠指示信号に応答して前記車両のドアを施錠する。【選択図】図1
