METHOD FOR PRODUCING ORIENTED CERAMIC SINTERED COMPACT
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an oriented ceramic sintered compact oriented to a high degree even in a low magnetic field, using magnetic field orientation.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing an oriented ceramic sintered compact, comprising: a step where planar particle-containing raw material powder and graphene are prepared; a step where the treatment of covering at least a part of the surfaces of the planar particles with graphene is applied to the raw material powder to make the graphene-covered planar particle-containing treated powder; a step where the treated powder and a solvent are mixed to prepare slurry; a step where a magnetic field is applied to the slurry to orient the planar particles to a prescribed direction; a step where the solvent in the slurry is removed and/or solidified to make a molded body in which the planar particles are oriented to a prescribed direction; and a step where the molded body is fired to make an oriented ceramic sintered compact in which at least a part of the sintered particles is oriented.SELECTED DRAWING: None
