PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic member capable of attaining the improvement of joining strength between a terminal and a connection member.SOLUTION: Provided is a ceramic member 100 comprising: a ceramic substrate 10 buried with a terminal 30; a stop hole 11 formed at the ceramic substrate 10 and communicating the lower face of the ceramic substrate 10 and the terminal 30; and a connection member 40 inserted into the stop hole 11 and connected with the terminal 30 via a brazing filler metal solidification member 70. Regarding the stop hole 11, the space surrounded around the inner circumferential face has an expanded part 11b expanding at least partially to the outside about the circumferential direction at least in the bottom face 11a, and at least a part of the brazing filler metal solidification part 70 is present at the inside of the expanded part 11b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
