PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foundation structure made of resin foam block, with strengthened measures for preventing the foundation from being uplifted.SOLUTION: The foundation structure of a building includes a resin foam block having an open hole extending in the vertical direction, a foundation disposed above the resin foam block, a pile extending from a specific position below the foundation to below the bottom of the resin foam block, an infilled concrete for filling the open hole, and a joint member for joining the pile to the foundation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
