To provide a method for constructing a building foundation that can be performed easily and reduce a construction period.SOLUTION: A method for constructing a building foundation 1 includes an excavation step for excavating a plurality of holes which have enough spaces to accommodate base members 10 in the ground; an installation step for installing the base members 10 of a plurality of foundation bodies 2 in the respective holes; a placement/fixing step for placing and fixing, on a base member 10 installed in each hole, a foundation frame 3 at/to a position of allowing a pile 20 to be inserted into each guide cylinder 12 of the base members 10; a first driving step for driving the lower end of the pile 20 into the ground while inserting the pile 20 into each guide cylinder 12 of the base members 10 and adjusting the horizontal level of the foundation frame 3; a second driving step for driving the pile 20 into the ground more deeply; and a backfill step for backfilling each of the holes with earth.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
